Default rsx trouble

hey guys i have a problem with my rsx, and its my first car so i was just wondering if somoene could help me spot out the problem...when is tart the car the car starts as if its studdering and it pretty much studders for a bit and stalls even in neutral unless i give it gas. so if i keep revving it the car stays on but once the rpm meters drops it studders then stalls....anyone have an idea of whats wrong?

A camshaft position sensor is used to findout the engine cycle position. so the information is used to give you individual cylinder ignition and injection cotrol.a lot of engine mangement systems use an inductive type of sensor that is placed near the camshaft;when the camshaft rotates...a single signal is passed to the ECU to indicate a reference point in the engine cycle.

I dont know too much, but I know things here and there.

Dont take my word for it. Wait until other people respond. I might be wrong.

Default Hard to narrow down

a problem when your not there. Something I would check would be an intake manifold leak. Maybe a vacuum leak, line could be cracked or just worn out. Unfortunately, I'm not very familiar with this engines (D's and B's is what I know) but anything else to do with spark, ignition could be your problem. Does it only happen when it's cold? Once the engine warms up does the problem go away?

When his car idles, the RPMs go down then eventually the car stalls. It cant be a line. and defintly not the ignition. It has somthing to do with the flow that is coming in and out of the engine, or the cam sensor.

does only do it when it get colder out? does it get worse the colder it gets? sounds like a coolant temperature sensor to me.
