RSX rear leathers
Hi guys,
I picked up some RSX rear leather seats.
I've already re-wrapped the seat shells with the rsx cusions and leather but I have questions about how everyone else has installed the lower rear cusions into there teg.
Option 1: Is to cut the rsx tabs, and get them re-welded into the same spots as the stock teg bottoms.
option 2: Is to cut holes into the car where the rsx tabs would go.
I know I can't re-wrap them because it would take too much time, and effort to get them to fit, so what have you guys done, and or what do you guys suggest?????

Okay well I have put 94-97 dc type r seats in my 98. Same idea applies here the tabs were in different spots. But on my first set I think I just bent them out of the way and just attached the seats to the back bolt only. On my next pair I did the same but cut the tabs. Like the seat is loose but doesn't rattle or really move unless I physically lift them.
I like the idea of re welding the brackets. If you got a welder available and won't cost you anything I'd do that. But if you gotta pay for it go with the way I have it set up. But if you are a perfectionest then I would try to re weld them to the correct places to fit your teg.

Ok well I guess that is gonna be the best way, and it will give me a reason to go and buy a new dremel & cutting wheel.
Anyone on the board a good welder??? or can recommend one, I have something else I need to touch up if I can do both then it might make it worth while to pay someone weld it for me.
