Default rims?

hey guys just had a quick question about rim size. looking to get another set of summer rims but not sure what size to get. looking to get blades or hammerheads but theres a couple sets of 16s and 17s i might be interested in. does anyone have any suggestions on how big i can go and how comfortable the ride is on each? keep in mind this is my dd. by the way its not lowered or anything...at least for now

Don't go with 17's, they look really big on integras, and the ride is not the best with such a low profile tire. would say nothing bigger then a 16" rim. They don't look to big and they ride OK with the right size tire on them.

I for one like 15's better on integras. Nice smooth ride and tires are alot cheaper to get when you need to replace them.

Truth right there. Clean and simple 15's are the best imo.

Whatever you do, do not go with rota rims.

205.55.16 or 205.50.16

Rotas are ----. Google "rota", under images. look at some of the pics.

If your looking for the slipstreams that everyone has, get the GP Racing GR6 rims.

^ lol honestly rotas aren't bad. People just need to be careful how they drive. Of course any cast iron rim can break after hitting something. People who break their rims post pics and complaints because simply a lot of ppl own them. Not everyone has a set of nice *** rims to break and post. If you track, obviously get something that is forged, cast iron is fine for street driving. For an Integra, like spike said 16 should be the highest you go because the heavier wheels suck on Integras. You get the torque steer feel. I've had 17's and it sucked, 16's are a better. Some people do have nice looking 17's though. If you go with 16's 205/45/16 is standard and will look good. 205/40/16 are the lowest profiles you can get, I guess you achieve more lower look if tha's what you want. I have 205/45/16 but I want to get 205/40/16. I'm sorry but 205/50-55/16 looks so ugly.

do this, wrap the ---- out your tires and rock big time camber, million style points, zero practicality

Rotas aren't THAT bad... i've seen pictures of Advan Wheels that broke over potholes going 5MPH, so anything could happen to any wheel... and for the most part... for the price, you get what you want for what you normally wouldn't be about to afford.

I'de go 16' depending on what style wheel you get. Since you were inquiring about 17's I don't think you would be too happy with a 15' wheel.
16x7 +40 offset it nice.

Wouldn't go any bigger then 16 for aftermarket rims. The bigger the rim, the more weight, more expensive to buy tires, slows your car down and more uncomfortable the ride... All negatives. The only positive is they look good, and that's if you like the looks.

For tracking a car, go with the smallest/widest/lightest/strongest rim available that will fit over your brakes. And use GOOD track tires with the oem diameter or smaller.

Yeah.... I have to agree to the majority. If @ all possible... get a 15x7 wheel. They are the MOST perfect match for most Honda's.

Ridgwaym27, I want these ones soooo bad.....

Any idea on the weight of those rims? I've liked that set for a bit now and I have been yet to find out how much they weight. I'm hoping they are light cause I want to pick up a set.

I have a stock suspension on my teg with 18in MOMO Gtr's . they are 215/35/18 and the ride looks AMAZING now. the profile and tire makes the ride grip the road like mad and the stock suspension isnt too bad. just take a look at my pix.. there is no rub when i turn and actually have plenty of room under there.

lol body roll must be a bitch though. If you're getting 'better' grip with them.. your car is going to roll even worse on stock LS suspension..

Nothing special I know, I was considering the pro kit but I think it'll rub with the 1.5" drop on my 18s
