Rad fan

my rad fan is not comming on.But my car never overheats do i need a new rad fan?

My fan seems to do the same thing at idle, but don't come on unless there is a load on the engine, so if it does not over heat don't worry about it because it's most likely coming on well you drive.

hm when i got my car, wires on the fan were cut. dont ask why...
so i taped them together and idled the car for about 20mins on hot day. never went on.
i dont over heat either so i dont worry.

There is a test done by jumping the relay connection to see if the fan will actually come on.

On some cars, there has to be a load on the engine (driving the car) and the fan will come on, that's the only time my fan ever comes on is when I'm driving, not just letting the car idle.
