quick question DA window
So my drivers side window is all over the place, it moves left/right up/down by half inch or so. while driving on the highway it doesnt go into the weather stripping while closing, thus creating a gap and annoying wind sound. so i took the panel apart a while ago and noticed that the little plastic pieces on the bracket that is screwed into the window are broken. so while going up/down with the plastic pieces broken it has play in the rail. so i was in a scrap not too long ago and found a glass by an integra [stupid me didnt check whether it was power or manual] so i ripped it off. now question:
-power/manual windows are there any differences on the brackets that slide in the rail?
-how hard is it to remove? [i checked over service manual it says 2 bolts in the bottom, just looking for approval]
also any tips would be appreciated.
would really like to get this done soon since its getting cold plus riding up to niagara with slightly open/rattling window wouldnt be cool. some bumps make me feel uneasy about the stability of the glass. lol
EDIT: i got manual windows.

Ok well a week later, I get around doing this. Figured ill let you guys know how it went, also I've been told the tabs brake often so if anybody else needs to do this here is quick step by step.
Started off by taking the door panel off, then the mirror with the whole frame that holds it. Then took out the 2 stopers. Dropped the window down till when I could see the 2 10mm bolts holding the window in the bottom. Took those off, pushed it away from the rail and lifted the window out.
Now to replace the brackets that slide inside the rail, one side is a Philips screw, the other side is a circular bolt, and there is no way to hold it unless you have a special tool, so I used big channel locks. Just had to be careful not to accidently bang the window. Then just reinstalled. Did some re-allignment of the window, got it almost perfect, get a bit of wind noise on the highway, the front needs to go up a bit higher but that's an easy fix.
If anybody needs help/tips don't be shy to pm.

just strolling through old threads....
Man windows are a bitch. My DC window motor broke so i had to get a new one. I picked up a GSR door with motor for 100$. Turns out the gsr motor didnt connect with the wires I had. So I had to take the "brain" out of the gsr window motor and awap it into my old motor. Turned out one of the foam pieces that graize the motor wasnt on, so the motor was unresponsive.
