Default A Puzzle

Ok i got a puzzle for you!

so it starts fine idles fine.
But after you drive for a few minutes it will hesitate and loss all power.
If you feather the throttle it goes back to normal.
It will keep doing this for a few minutes.
then the check engine light will come on and it starts driving normally.

It is not showing a code?
When you turn of the ignition it starts all over again.
i think its a sensor because it runs normally after it trips the check engine light?

Any help will be great
Thanks

if your getting a check engine light, then you'll be throwing a code, i think it would either be 1 of two things, clogged cat which is typical in high flow cats therefore throwing a O2 sensor code, or something along the ignition, i.e distributer, cap, rotor, wires, plugs that would throw a random missfire code.

The puzzle is it only acts up when the light is off
It runs normally when the light is on?

ya, so regardless if it's running fine, if you still have a light on, stick the paperclip in the diagnosis harness and see what comes up. it'd give you a clue as to what's going on
