Default Polk Audio db6501

Hey All,
Finally getting some speakers installed after driving around with only two horribly functioning, stock, rear speakers, lol.

Just wondering if anyone has heard of these?

They were recommended by Davis @ Selective Sound, he's gonna install them for $372.90 (Taxes Included.)

Just wondering if you have any recommendations, also, if it's a good price?

Please see below for details.

Thanks,
Mixed1

Polk Audio db6501

The Polk Audio db6501 are pair of 6.5” 2-way component car-audio loudspeakers made out of dynamic balance polymer/mica composites and wrapped in durable butyl rubber surrounds. An upgrade from the db5251, the db6501 utilizes a larger speaker (6.5” versus 5.25”), higher peak power handling (300w versus 250w), and lower frequency response (35Hz-23kHz versus 53Hz-23kHz). The db6501 also includes a 1” liquid-cooled silk/polymer composite dome tweeter, flush & surface mount swivel cups for placement flexibility, and muscular ABS Grilles. Unlike any other previous speakers in the Audio db series, the Audio db6501 comes supplied with adapter rings cited as enabling it to fit both 6.5” and 6.75” mounting openings in VWs, Audis, BMWs, and European imports. The Polk Audio db6501 also features an electronic tweeter protection circuit and vented crossover housing, making it a formidable counterpart to the db5251.
