hey guys i was just wondering if and how you would paint a carbon fiber hood. any one done it? how did it look? let me no

 

the same as a normal hood, sand, primer than paint

 

just make sure you use automotive sand and not beach sand cause it gets everywhere.

 

it depends, if you still want to see the weaves..
cause if you do, you can't put a base coat since it'll cover it all up.

my friend just got his cf hood painted, they only sprayed it with blue pearl and clear coat. and you can still see the weaves, it looks like blue weaves now.
