well i got my car back today with the b16 installed and now its throwing an oxygen sensor problem code. What could/are the downfalls on this because i wont be able to get one for awhile

 

Your Car will be running rich on gas and it will then destroy your Cat Converter or plug it... And the smell coming out of the tailpipe will be raw gas (unburned fuel) or like rotten egg...

 

Well at least its not as bad as I thought it would be. How much do they usually go for?. I guess i gotta change them soon

Well I hope thats what it is at least because the engine light came one before i got home and i checked the ecu and it blinks red twice.

 

also sometimes the vtec works and sometimes it doesnt would that be the solenoid?

 

check your oil.

 

i ahve the same problem and im finding it impossible to find an o2 sensor for a first gen b16a

 

Is it a 1 wire or 4?
