Opinion: New Paint or Apexi ws2 +
Hi I am in a dilema of what to do for this up coming summer preperation for my vehicle. I want to get a new fresh coat of paint on my car but my cat-back is hella loud and I talked to a local automotive specialist and tried to get an order of a axle back since I already have a full skunk2 I just need the axle back switched to something more quiet but he said he can't order one for me so he suggested to order a whole new exhaust system Apexi ws2 or cut it off and put a universal muffler which I feel I may lose money if I cut of a good mega power skunk2 axle back just to weld a no name muffler which could affect the performance. *So my dilema is should I spend the money to have my car look brand new again (badly needed lots of chips on the hood) or use that money to buy a ws2 apexi + other parts that can fit the budget?
or if you have other suggestion it would be much appreciated. Trying to prepare my car to come out to my first ti meet.

Well the sides and rear are fine no fading or anything yet but the front would need some it has like mad little white chips or what not like specs in the hood like someone flicked white paint off a brush. It doesn't bother me that much but when my parents call my car a "piece of junk" because of it then maybe its more serious.
What do you guys think about the skunk2 axle back cut to weld a 2.25" quiet muffler on by the way? I think its a terrible suggestion considering value and performance thats why I want to just swap it with another greddy sp2 or ws2 axle back to keep it good throughout the system but its kinda hard to get or should I say impossible from a local automotive specials .

yeah I thinking just get a silencer for ld trips. skunk2 is hella loud, can barely hear my gf talk lol a silencer so do the trick for now. Thanks I checked on youtube it sounds like a hit or miss, some sound good but some sound wack.

dude i have the mega power exhaust i was running it without the exhaust and it was sounding way waaayy to loud, if you got a silencer or can get your hands i recommend that, thanks to overdose i tried it and i love the exhaust even more.... its quite when you cruise or just idle but when you rip it, it still has that same sound as without the silencer, and if your half throttling it is not too loud and too low just nice...
as for your dilema get a sliencer and then paint the car.

Yeah I just ordered my silencer maybe in a few days it'll be here. Yea the megapower is hella loud lol although it has a nice beastly sound to it, I am just worried about the long trips to toronto and stuff since I live in london I would need to take a tylenol before i go out lol with a silencer maybe I can hear my music and my gf.
Too bad I can get a order of an axle back like a sp2. Would be awesome too.

oh also do you guys know what upgrades I should do that helps the cars performance/suspension or w/e. I love the way the car sits now, not looking for a turbo or anything just minor upgrades to keep the car clean

I would get it sittin' pretty first with some coil-overs/springs,shocks, then maybe basic upgrades. Depends on your budget bro, intake, header, short shifter ect

Pretty much I have all the little basics intake, coilover etc etc, I was thinking new cams and a converter because the converter is a little big. I want to get a smaller one to get my car riding a lil lower.
Also I was thinking of upgrading the rear bumper to 98-01, type r side skirts and valence to go with the bumper.

dont go with the type r skirts not much difference from the oem go with optional side skirts like the idea of 98+ bumper and valences..
Trust me once you get the silencer you will hear the gf lmao and music will be clear believe i know now.

Meeeeeeeeeeh.
A Black lowered DC with a JDM front is enough for a theif to go on. So if you wanna be careful, if there if ever a meet you'll have to make everyone block your plates.

Alright since we got that out of the way I guess i'll just re-post what I originally wrote about the parts...well I have so far skunt 2 exhaust, 4 to 1 header, b16a2 engine with type r intake manifold, injector, thorttle body, chipped ecu, type r lsd tranny, type r clutch and flywheel, autometer gauges, air-fuel, rpm, voltage. jdm dc2 cluster, momo steering wheel, sport comp boost gauge and apexi turbo timer ( was turbo-ed not no more.) I like the car where it is but I believe theres some more I can do.. Let me know what you guys recommend or suggestion is greatly appreciated. Oh my car has alarm and is garaged stored neways so I doubt I'll have issues with thieves lol

do a sway bar upgrade. GP brace with a beaks bar. skunk2 LCAs. thats 70% bling points and 30% preformance
U can also get tow hooks, lisence plate re-locator.
im just trying to name some bling parts
if you want to get serious. get some nice AEM or buddyclub cam gears, nice pair of buddyclub spec IV cam shafts, buddyclub valve springs.

Not much left. You can go for flash or you can get ---- that functions.
Get the ASR kit with type R rear sway or 24 ASR mm sway bar. To replace your current stock sway set up. In my opinion, the Type R sway is enough for street, 24 or more is kinda over kill and should just be left for the track
Rear LCA's can stay the same if bushings are fine. If the car was boosted why not go back to it and maybe up your numbers? boost is always awesome. All motor is nice, but boost is wicked.
From what Ive seen in your pics of your car, I say leave it as simple as it is right now on the outside. Maybe a sweet set of wheels and call it a day. Your car is cleaaaaaan, no need for exessive ---- like tow hooks or shinny lcas.
OH YEA, also the biggest upgrade you can do is get some TI stickers. i got my car dynoed with the stickers and i did MAD JDM 219.742523 WHP going downhill with no interior,Power steering, AC, or anything. LOOOL.

oh yea well long story short, I lent my car to a buddy to drive home a another buddy because I was hella drunk since it was my bday and so pretty much he blew my turbo. lost alot of money from that so i swapped it out and I just dont want to waste more time and money to do it again. also he pretended like nothing happened( didn't even get an apology) So im just keeping it clean as possible with decent upgrades throughout the vehicle. Possible type r look aswell. Im looking for rims but Im not crazy about it at the moment, just waiting for good timing.
