Default Is this normal?

My caliper is really close to my rim

This is all stock. stock rim, just painted

There is a little more of a gap, i just took it on a bad angle.

Lemme guess those are 14" rims? Yes that's normal. With my 14s I have maybe 1/8th of an inch gap from rim to caliper.

Yes that is normal for the brakes to be that close. My DC4 is the same way with the stock 14's on.
