Default Alternator

I'm hoping to get an alternator rewound for higher voltage and I was wondering what would be the cheapest alternator I can grab at a wreckers because its basically getting rebuilt. What kind of options do I have I currently have a b16a first gen in my car what will fit?

At the wreckers, doubt you will find anything but you will need any b16 and I believe gsr dizzy will fit.

The B-series alternators are all the same, just make sure you get one that is the same OBD as yours. So if yours if a OBD1, make sure you get one that is OBD1, and if it's OBD2, make sure you get one that's OBD2. But the B-series will all bolt up the same, just the plugs are different for each OBD.

why do you want more voltage? everything in the car is designed to run around the 12v range. i hope you mean higher amperage.
