Need Help
I Just bought JDM type-r front end conversion for my car and the part i don't understand is the rad support. Do i need to cut my bumper off and weld the rad support that JDM Engineland give me with the kit to my car?
nope you gotta drill out the spot welds in the usdm rad support to get it out, them you gotta line the jdm rad support up before you weld it in, team integras have a how to on their site

it is a lot of work tho, youre better off finding someone to do it for you, did they give you the rebar for the bumper?

hmmm well you got a little work to do if you wanna do it yourself I tackled this last year...yo are gonna have to cut some of the rad support not all of it as some people do which is pointless....anyways you will have to cut the T-Part of the rad support and the 2 little brackets that hold the lights on...make sure to measure it perfectly don't wanna ---- it up. The way I have my rad support holding on is my Rivets which is working Solid!
as for the fenders they line up perfect.
Hood is also a perfect fit with the new lock latch...since The JDM one is on the outside oppose the USDM one of being on the inside. You will either have to get a longer hood latch cable or extend yours using some tricks
all in all if you don't have all the tools or a helping hand that really knows how to go abouts doing this I really recommend a body shop since they will do it right. ( if you have any other questions feel free to contact me VIA Cellphone @ 416-577-3320) Good Luck

I do have a guy thats doing it all for me, its just that i didn't realize how much labour was involved. Not a big deal though most of the cost is covered by insurance and the rest, well i guess i will have to go to the money tree.
JDM engineland what a gold mine, but not very informative on stuff like the cutting and welding of the rad support.
Anyways thanks for all the info guys, i'll post pics when its done.

holung I'm sure there is a wiring harness to get the lights hook up as for when you just get the front end you can't hook up all the lights I was only able to hook up my night time HID's the rest are all different connections.
