To improve you chances of passing you can try retarding the timing slightly, run high octane fuel, pure in a guaranteed to pass gas treatment into the tank, but most of all, make sure the car is really, really warm when you do the test. Do not let it sit outside cooling down. Run it on the highway in 4th gear or with the OD off for a good 20 minutes then find a drive-in etest place and go when it's not busy. Cats work better when they have heat in them. Cars with Cats on the downpipe tend to work better then cars with Cats further down since they heat up faster and work better. If your O2 isn't working, your cat is clogged or there isn't a cat or your gas cap is old and not working, then there's really nothing you can do to pass a test.

Hey I dunno if this would help one of my buddies used this thing at crappy tire called GARRENTIED TO PASS. it cost 10-15bux (not sure). He had failed his etest first and then he used this from crappy tire and his car passed. I've never tried it for my self so I wouldn't know how exactly it works maybe someone here can tell you. And yes use Ultra 94.

BTW there is an etest place on 401 and Warden. 3 blocks north of ellesmere which is here I always go.

^^that sums it.
Best advice is run 94 octane gas, drive ur car on the highway for 20 minutes and go straight into emissions without turning it off.
