need ecu help please.
Hey, Im confused here. My problem is this i have a 1990 acura integra ls and i dropped a b17 a1 1rst generation Gsr. The ecu i got was a p28 obd 0 jdm sir ecu. Along with a dizzy vtec obd 0. Well the guy who is going to tune my car said i need my car to be obd 1 its easier and better to tune with. How do i do this? Is there some sort of plug and play harness..? im confused please help me.

you will need to use an obd1 dizzy when converting from obd0. Does your ecu say p28 on it? I've never ever seen an obd0 p28. The jdm SIR obd-0 ecus are PR3 and PW0 (dohc vtec ecu).
Normally you would need to install a 4 wire heated o2 sensor as well, but if you're getting it tuned right away its likely the o2 sensor will be disabled after tuning....so IMO theres no need to install a 4 wire o2 and run the extra wires for a sensor that will be disabled.
You will need an obd0-obd1 ecu conversion harness, obd1 dizzy (b/c the obd0 dizzys don't work with obd1 ecus) and a chipped p28 (which i can provide).
The conversion harness allows you to plug an obd1 ecu into your wiring harness.
