well check the boost spring and see if that might be the culprit since u said u already checked the vac lines and charge pipes, also if ure bov is faulty and maybe seized it could be leaking boost, ive heard of that happening b4

i hope you're using a different MAP sensor than the stock one, the stock ones are only good for 11psi.
Without knowing if you're using a boost controller or not, its gunna be tough to figure out any problems.
Could be a potential problem with the wastegate, the bov, a boost leak or the boost controller. If its a manual boost controller and the little set/locking screw isn't tight, its possible someone/something turned the boost controller down some.

is the car louader? it could be a crack in the manifold, but check your charge piping and couplers for leaks and tears. also make sure your BOV is tight enough but no so tight that your getting a compressor surge.

i just checked out my downpipe and it has a crack in it and also my manifold gasket seems to be a lil old could that cause the boost drop and i hear a bubble wen the car is idleing , could it be the downpipe or the gasket or wha else??

which manifold gasket is it? if it's the gasket between the manifold and the turbo then it could be leaking exhaust so it's not regulating boost very well.

ok, well anyway you have leaking exhaust gas so it could very well be effecting boost. change that and then see if your still loosing boost.

^yes, that could very well be it, if you have an exhaust leak, expecially with a turbo, there's not enough back pressure, i'm not 100% sure if it'll effect boost, i have an exhaust leak and i still see 9psi but that could be because my motor puts out more exhuast gas (comapred to a sohc) or i still have enough back pressure.
