Great place in toronto that I would highly recommend is my mechanic, Gala motors. He is located on Munster Ave. (Kipling, South of Bloor) My family gets all there cars serviced there that's a total of 10 cars not including family friends. Never had a bad thing from him and his prices are more the reasonable.

If you decide to go there say Paul/Ziggy sent you there. He'll take care of you

Most regular maintenance can be done on your own with some simple hand tools, a good jack and a pair of quality jack stands. All can be had for not much cash. If you have even a bit of mechanical understanding, you can easily learn to do most maintenance procedures on your own. It will save you a lot of money down the road and you'll know it was done properly. Gives you a chance to learn about your car and keep a close eye on it's condition for your own peace of mind.

I wish i could but unfortunately i have a bad throwout bearing in the tranny. And from my understanding its a tough job to do. But no doubt about it if i could save the hundreds of dollars on labor i would.
