my maint reqd light came on as long as my oil light today i went and got a oil change thought thats what it ment but the maint light comes on when i start my car blinks on and off and beeps for about 10 secs then goes away but i'd like to know what it means anyone know....?

 

That intermittent blinking is a warning that the "req''d maintence" light will go on. It does that anywhere from 1000 to 500 KM before require service. You can reset it if you want, by pressing the blue button under the driverside dashboard just right of the steering wheel.

 

Press and hold. for like 6 seconds.... it's a manual reset.
