Ever since I bought my car the maint light on the dash would flashing several times when starting. Now today it stays on solid even when driving! I did put in my K&N drop in filter today ( which by the way was a stubborn ----- to install ) could that be the cause ?

 

its a useless light to remind u to do a tune up...its not a must jus a pre-programmed timer set to remind ppl to take care of their engine...

to turn it off theres a button under the steering wheel collum on the right side.
turn the key to on and press and hold the button until the light turns off and ur good to go til the next pre-programmed schedule...

under the steering wheel column man, u cant miss it.

 

lol beleive me you CAN miss it, you gotta get right down into the foot well to see that sucker!
