Ok so my buddy has these rims on his DC that hes gona scrap, says i can have them if i can get them off, 2 of the rims are off but the front rims need a special lug nut key and he doesnt have it... anyone have any ideas? i head using a chisel and hitting the middle till it cracks works, or hammering on a socket and using a braker bar? what would work best has anyone had to do this??

 

Air chisel works best I find, chisel one half off and it should come right off. That or a lug nut extractor.

 

Ya lugnut extractors work wonders. Many shops have them since they work on all sorts of cars and wheels and they don't always have the right lock for the lugnut so they end up using this.

If thats not possible to get then Id take a big flathead screwdriver and hammer a side of the lugnut that will loosen it. Keep banging it till it's loose and bam it's off.

ctire or partsource sells lug nut extractor. if you go to partsource, you may be able to borrow the tool for free.....
