If you want it bad enough you will.

You seem to be in a huge rush, chances are you want this done last week and you're going to rush it together, it will run like ---- and ultimately you'll have a busted-*** setup.

Have you ever considered H22? Great power and MUCH cheaper than LSV or C5

OKAY IVE HAD IT WITH THIS MICKEY MOUSE THREAD.
Coming from a guy who had an ls vtec and 2 b20vtec's..

1) the cheaper you go and butch everything together, the motor wont last long and expect oil leaks as well as unreliablilty
2) ls vtec with just slapped on head on a b18 or even a b20 block WILL NOT make over 200whp. Mike from prospec has a fully built ls vtec and his only hits 204 whp. my b20 vtec fully built will only hit around 230-240whp give or take(and thats bored to a 2.1).
3) YES ls vtecs even with a GSR head will smoke a STOCK type R if you can drive.
4) Expect to pay 3-4 grand for a very mild but reliable ls vtec setup. if you with a bigger more built setup expect to pay 6-10 grand depending on parts.
5) dont build anything you do not know what your getting yourself into.

when i started mine i thought i was gonna be able to do all 3 seeing as i practically got the block and head for free. as i got deeper in to the build, the cheap part faded fast. i can only hope that reliable and fast didn't go with it. i'll find out when it's done.
