ive got my rear lower control arms with energy bushings ready to go into my 96 teg, is there anything special i have to do when torquing the bolts in like setting the car down on the ground before torquing?

It's a bitch to remove the control arms make sure they are lubed days before you try to attempt this...have power tools is a forsure!!! and even with lubing get ready to maybe torch some out. As for when installing new ones I did not use a torque wrench don't think you need to..I did everything while the car was jacked up in the air.

I think they just have to be torqued down to spec. Nothing else really

Just install everything and tighten the bolts to spec. Doesn't have to be sitting on the ground to tighten the LCA bolts.
