From what Im told, the casting number are the generations. PR3-1 is first gen so im guessing B16A1. i have also heard that the code is for a OBD reference.
i think its
pr3-1=obd0
pr3-2= obd1
pr3-3= obd3 and so on

So you have an OBD0 B16a head. Came out of the 1988-1991 civic ef9 and the 1990-1991 Integra da9
also needed to know if there was a big difference between the p06 ecu and the p28 . thnx guys ur being of great help

Both will be the same for your use. Both will need to be chipped and have software for whatever motor you will be running [assuming the b16a]

yeah im gonna be running a b16a head on a b18b block .ill bring the ecu tonight and get u guys to look at it , make shure it'll be good . the guy I bought it from said it'll work the same as p28 . coming with the eg today ?

. only things im missing is GSr timing belt,GSr water pump ,GSr belt tensioner , 660cc fuel injectors , aem fuel rail, aem wideband gauge , flywheel , distributor , adjustible fuel pressure regulator, fuel pressure gauge with the water in it and exhaust system . then where rdy to machine , deck ,assemble , install and tune . can't wait for the finnished results
