Default Leak under the engine?

My integra has been leaking some black fluid under the engine. I recently got the brakes done and could it be that they didn't pump the brakes after they filled the master cylinder? cause the brakes feel real soft. I'm so confused, any insight would be helpfull. Thanks.

Could it be oil from the oil pan?

put a big piece of clean cardboard under your car when you park it for the night. in the morning look underneathe at the cardboard for where the fresh fluid is coming from before you pull it out. black is probably either oil or brake fluid. your brakes probably were not bled properly if the pedal is mushy. it should have a firm feel to it, even harder than before you had the brakes done. make sure the cardboard goes under the calipers as well.

darn leaks....been struggling with a tiny leak on my teg for 3 months. Couldn't figure it out until this weekend. U sound sure its not oil, but i'd double check. I didn't think mine was oil either, and its surprosing where there can be a leak, and where the oil ends up on your driveway. in my case, my mechanic found the leak on Saturday. there was a small drip from the oil pressure switch. now no leaks. just food for thought.
