figure out how to get the ITR sway bar in there and mounted like the stock one first, look it up on g2ic. then worry about the LCA's. if it's an either/or situation get the lca's and buy a suspension techniques sway bar

LCAs are interchangeable with swaybars. I currently have itr lcas with stock sway, no difference between swaybar link mount points. The difference in sway mounts points is: on DA there's little brackets coming down from in front of under the trunk. On DC it is mounted to the chassis, between where the LCAs bolt in.

I have a 98 GSR and I recently put in 99 Type R shocks and springs with the type r control arms... when i when to put the rear sway bar in, it fits but doesn't look right at all, the bushings aren't flush with the sway bar... Do I have to get the type r rear sway bar too?

Hmm. If you put your stock lcas up next to your type-r lcas, is there any difference between the swaybar endlink mount points? They should be the same. Why did you take off the swaybar? When you re-installed the swaybar did you bolt it to the chassis first, then connect the endlinks?

When you say that it fits, but doesn't look right, it makes me think that something is wrong. How are the bushings not flush with the bar? The bushings sit in a bracket wrapped around the bar, yes? Are you sure that you didn't install the bar upside-down?

The bottom line is: your swaybar should sit exactly as it did before. Perhaps you could take a couple of pics of your issue? Worth a thousand words...

This is a simple question and not meant to be mean in any sort of way - did you install the LCAs on the proper sides? I'm sure they're marked with an L and R but you never know - the marking could have worn off and you could have mistakenly put the wrong LCA on the wrong side.

I know the GS-R sway fits on the Type-R LCAs - I've seen it on two different cars; Civics of all cars, too.

Take pics, if you can. That could help us.

Bryan, you are dead on. I threw in mugen shocks with springs onto type r lca. the stock 14mm swaybar (2000 teg GSR) mounted right back on without any problems. Something tells me that the lcas aren't mounted correctly. If need be, i can take pictures underneath my car.
