Default ITR Titanium Shift **** Question

I just picked up this shift **** for my DC, but it did not come with a locking nut for the shifter, so when I screw it on, the gears on the shift **** dont line up (its angled when fully tight).

Does anyone have any experience on a good way to deal with this without using the locking nut?

Would any other nut work as well, even without reverse locking thread?

Also, if anyone knows where I can get one, that would be great.

Cheers

thanks for the feedback guys. Its a real one, but wouldn't line up. I went to the home depot and got a locking nut 10 X 1.5 mm and it worked mint, total damage $0.49....
