iPod Ready ... ?
I own a JVC KD-G710 car deck.
I want to use my I-pod with it, but can't figure out wether or not it can be used with an Ipod. I know the new decks have the plug right on the deck, but how would I use mine with an Ipod, since there's no plug directly on the deck.
Can anyone help me out? If you have this deck, or know how to use it with an iPod..?
Thanks.

I checked out the specs online and no aux ... only rca outs.
One option you have is the fm tuner for the ipod ... plugs into the top of the ipod and then you set your deck to a specified station to pick up the signal. They aren't that expensive from what I've seen and should be minimal interference considering the ipod would be close to the deck.

why buy an fm tuner...just buy a "Y"connecting RCA to 3.5 mm adaptor at the $1 store. I got my Bitch braveheart YO to buy me one when we went to pick up some tennis ***** for hockey and the little caesar whuuuuuure. :laugh1: :finger:

a quick search on your deck on yahoo shows it has a cd changer input, to which you can buy an adaptor to change it into an rca input or connect an ipod adaptor like the jvc ks-pd100 or one made by another manufacturer. i believe denison makes one for jvc decks if your deck is new enough. with the latter, you'll be able to control the ipod and charge it through the deck.
if you just use the rca input cable (less money), pick up one of those ipod connector to rca cables as it sounds much better than sticking an 3.5mm headphone plug into the headphone jack.
