Default How cold is too cold?

How cold is too cold?
Just wondering if it could be a problem?
Now that the cold weather is here I noticed that when I accelerate the temp drops sharply.
Then goes back to normal.

I have
-new duel core rad
-new fluid (yes 50/50)
-Red line water wetter

cooling has never been a problem

If it was a failed tstat the car would be cold all the time, or overheat.

Sounds like you're losing pressure in the cooling system, likely at the rad cap.

i boiled the thermostat and its closing like it should.
the rad cap was new with the rad and is in nice and tight.
i think i'll try some cardboard in front of the rad to cut down the air flow?

And thanks
I'll let you know how it goes

Then you may have a air pocket in the system.
