Default Hood support

Hey I dont know if this was posted before cause I can never search crap up on this site, I want to put gas shocks to hold up my hood so I dont need the stupid arm to hold it. Anyone know what car shocks would be compatible with a 1990 integra? I heard a Acura Legend has them stock, so would that work?

you can just pick up a set of password or tein hood dampeners.

thanks for the info, any possibility of using monroe hood dampeners? Honestly my pockets aint full of cash lol.

ebay has the sokie-tech ones. they're a pain in the *** to do in DA's look it up on g2ic, you'll see.

looking to do the same on my DC, in ProjectCar magazine they have a whole install process apprently you gotta bleed some gas out of the shock if you're using CF and it was basically a hit and miss ordeal.

u can actually make your own if your that cheap. go to princess auto and select the size you want and strength.. then drill the holes and then bolt them in... then your done.. just make sure to use a strong enough shock and small enough, so it will hold the hood up and the hood will be able to close.
