Hood Release Cable

Would a hood release cable from a 1999 Civic be the same length and diameter (if it matters) as the one from a DA? ... Need it for my JDM Front coversion for a 95 LS. Called Honda and Acura dealerships and they said that they do not have the dimensions. FUNNY

Do you guys know any junkyards that are known to have DA's in stock? Visited a couple could not find any DA's there .....

I used a DA for my conversion.... I dont know if theres any left down here at any junkyards.. .its been a while. One thing for sure do not use a honda accord hood cable, i found out the hard way it didnt fit.

a friend of a friend used an EK9 hood cable in his gs-r and it worked
but i dunno maybe i could be wrong

^ yeah i bought a hood release cable for a 99 civic. it was $20... if its long enough then im safe else i'll just return it but keep throwing your suggestions guys. thanks
