Honda Rust

What I want to know is, for whoever has had the rust cut and rewelded metal to the rear quarters, has the rust come back?
I would only be willing to pay high coin only if the rust at the weld points will not come back.

That is exactly what I'm talking about, some peeps had it cut off and re-welded, but the rust still came back.
I guess that would depend on the quality of the work done. In that case, which shops had the rust coming back, and which shops didnt?

It can come back on the welds. I had a cheap and cheesy job done on my black 90 rex and a year later I saw the first bubble. Mind you they didn't replace the quarter panel, just cut out the rust and welded in new metal. I also didn't rust proof afterwards so results may vary. I'd suggest find a reputable shop and get it done right or sell the car and find a rust-free version. No reputable shop will tell you the rust won't come back. Raj at Discovery Auto has done a number of HADA guys rear quarter panels and everyone's been happy with his work, you should give him a try.
