Default HID question

So our lights have daytime function..but that bulb is in the same housing as our high beams... i already have hid on the low beam,...but if i wanted hid on the daytime and high beam ...what kind of bulb?.. i searched and it said 9005 for the HIGHBEAm...does that include the daylight?.... or is their a specific bi-xenon kit?

OEM fog lights use an H3 bulb. That includes the Stanley SIR-G Fog lights (94-97), and the Raybrig (sp) fog lights (98-01)

the DRL light/High beams use a 9005 bulb. (inner lights closest to the inside of the bumper)

The low beams (ones to the outsides of the bumper) use 9006 bulbs.

THIS is for the USDM models. JDM fronts use a different bulb size.

So yes, to answer your question. They use the same 9005 bulb for your drls and high beams.

In regards to fogs. Do you have OEM fogs or aftermarket?

I believe so. You'll still get the same Kelvin rating ( such as 3000k, 6000k, 10000k) but maybe not as powerful or bright if youre on the DRLs.

Hmmmm. Thats a good question actually. Not really sure if the HID bulb affects the way the light gets emitted when youre on High beams. PM HID Lighting in the vendors section. He knows all for these HID kits.

But yes, the DAYLIGHT RUNNING bulb, and the HIGHBEAM bulb, are the same bulb (9005).

Some will have a second bulb on them for the DRL, but mostly the HID will be the DRL and it will be at full power at all times.
