you can pick up a universal magnaflow high-flow cat at canadian tire for around 80-100 bucks.

you just need to find a shop to install it for you.......

they have like 2", 2.25" and i belive also 2.5" diameter universal converters. no flanges so you gotta have them welded them on.

HyBrId 08-05-2007 11:03 AM

so they wont have a spot for the o2 either right? i cant remember if the o2 is supposed to be at the end of the header or the front of the cat

non-VTEC 08-05-2007 11:23 AM

nope....you gotta have a o2 bung welded in also.....if the o2 is on the cat...

HyBrId 08-05-2007 11:59 AM

o...but ur not sure where the o2 goes?

non-VTEC 08-05-2007 12:12 PM

which year/car/engine do you have?

HyBrId 08-05-2007 12:27 PM

95/teg rs/obd1

non-VTEC 08-05-2007 01:12 PM

the o2 is in the collector of the manifold/header pipe. your cat does not have a o2 in it. so all you would need at the flanged and someone to weld it all togeather.

HyBrId 08-05-2007 01:13 PM

---- then i bought the wrong header lol cuz it doestn have a bung for o2

its me.. mario 08-05-2007 01:38 PM

it should have... obd1 should have one... obd2 should have one there as well as one right before the cat

non-VTEC 08-05-2007 01:56 PM

OBD1 LS/RS B18B engine has the primary o2 sensor bung on the header collector.

OBD1 GSR B18C engine has the primary o2 sensor bung on the cat.

the LS/RS header collector is slightly longer which is why the o2 bung is in the collector.

non-VTEC 08-05-2007 02:06 PM

the OBD2's are the same except they all have secondary o2 sensor's after the converter...

HyBrId 08-05-2007 05:09 PM

thanks man so i guess i got teh gsr header

HyBrId 08-05-2007 05:41 PM

anyone kno wat issues id have if i used this gsr header and jus extended the flang on the cat and put a bung in there?
or if i used a b18c5 header?

non-VTEC 08-06-2007 09:12 AM

ya you should be able to have an exhaust shop just extend a pipe from the front of the converter and weld in a o2 bung.......

HyBrId 08-07-2007 12:23 AM

but if i get teh b18c5 they would have to shorten the cat slightly?
