I'm guessing you bought the seats with no rails?

They should be a direct bolt-in, 8 bolts and your done.

If you don't have rails... you're going to have to find a set of used Recaro sliders and brackets, or have a set made up for ya.

I put those in a CRX by keeping the stock rails and having a machine shop weld in new anchoring points. Made for a simple and safe install. Your seats are important to safety in an accident.

thanks for the post, the seats did come with rails and it was suppose to be a direct bolt-in. however, the holes don't exactly line up with the holes in the floor board and the belt buckle is hitting the center console, any ideas? thanks once again.

you might have got CTR recaro's instead of DC2R's. from my understanding they should still fit, but only three of the four bolt holes will line up, and you might be sitting a little higher as well.

Welll if 3/4 bolt holes line-up you have CTR EK9 rails. You will sit a big higher than the DC2 ITR rails, but I don't think it would cause the seat buckle to hit the console.

If no holes are lining up properly... you might have some wierd rails like EVO or DC5 rails.

Good luck!

the buckles on my DC2 Recaros did hit the console. It also makes adjusting the forward/back tilt on the seat a pain. You have to remeber in Japan they had the armrest eliminator. So the easiest thing to do is to remove the armrest, install your seats, get them all adjusted, flip the seats forward (like you are letting someone into the back seat of your car, then you can install the console. It is VERY tight, but it does fit.

That might be just because you were running a teg console and seats in your EG hatch. I had no clearance issues with the centre console on my Integra with JDM Recaros, the only thing was the the arm rest lid would lightly rub the side bolster when flipped open or closed.
