Default help fuel leak!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

so i have a fuel leak....im thinking that its my fuel lines reason being because the fuel only leaks when the car is on or the key is in accessory position (fuel pump working) and the leak is towards the rear of the car. i doubt its anything else because if it was the gas tank or something it would be leaking constant since it only leaks with the car on/pump running that's the only time fuel is running through the lines right?

but if you think its something else let me know please, and how much do you think a job like this would cost? ie new lines etc

thanks TI.

i hvae the same thing that is going on with mine but i also have a small pin hole in my tank a job like yours you could buy the kit to do it or take it somewere but it could range from like 30 or 40 right up to all new lines
do you have access to a hoist?

when i got mine done i had to get all new rear lines and a gas tank it was about 1000 and thats a discounted rate cause i work at a shop, it all depends on how corroded things are.

unless you go the cheaper route and do it yourself...... need a bending tool and some patience....

when i had my lines go on my 94 i just used high pressure rubber fuel line and then sold the car. as far as i know there were no issues. it was a cheap fix and easy too. couple hundred bucks beats over a thousand any day.

It will depend on the condition of the fuel lines as to how much of them will need to be replaced. It could be just a short/small section that needs to be fixed, or the whole line front to back. You'll have to take a look of have it checked out (if you don't know what to look for).

Cost could be from $100 and up, depending on what is needed.

Should get it fixed asap. Don't want to waste gas and polute the environment...
