Ok so heres the problem, ever since i got my new gas tank my car has been making some weird noises. Sometimes when i accelerate, it sounds like its stuggling for gas. B4 the car would accelerate with no poblems but now there my car struggles to accelerated and make a kinda chugging noise like a go-kart. I hope It does cut out when i'm on the highway. What seems to be the problem?

Sound like a fuel pump problem, maybe its improperly installed. Either way I would take it back!

 

When i took my car back the mechanic said its not the fuel pump but i was arguing the fact that my car all of a sudden its not working properly, i dont even think he bothered to check it out, i most definitely won't be going back to that shop.

 

maybe something is blocking the fuel pump filter, and not letting fuel to pass threw properly? was your fuel filter changed?

 

no the fuel pump filter wasn't changed, I'm going to have to go to another mechanic to get this checked out, the noise is coming from the rear so i know its not my engine

 

Bad connection at the pump maybe?
