Heater not working

Default Heater not working

need some help, the heater in my car is not working, it's the blower motor I think but could be in the switch, any help would be appreciated, thanks

nothing at all, no speeds at all, nothing, how would I clean it out?

Check the fuse, you can check the blower by checking the power coming to the fan with volt meter.

Did you just buy this car? maybe there is a wire problem.

mine works only on the 4th setting (highest). what does that indicate?

Thats very odd that the heater isnt working. I would understand the A/C not working.

Man that sucks, heat it supposed to work because its just heat coming from your engine.

The guy really effed you over by not telling you that problem

I figured it out, it was the blower motor resistor. replaced it and all is good now

u might have a wiring problem with ur sliding switch thingy when ur setting it to 1,2,3 theres no connection being made

it was working just fine when i took out the motor to clean it, put it back in now only the 4th setting works

take out the resistor and make sure non of the wires are touching or broken

I talked to Honda and apparently that's typical of the blower motor resister failing, take it out and replace it, I just did mine and it was around $45 for the part and 10 mins to change it
