No I don't believe it will, although I've seen someone run an H22a with a type r tranny, it's called like a H2b kit or something. But if that can be done, maybe this can also be done, Idk.

But generally speaking, if it's in the same series (ie D motor + D tranny etc) it will bolt up.

Anything will fit with money my freind... may i ask WHY you would want to do that tho? The B-series trannys are plentiful and have the wide range of short or long gearing. The H22 trannys are junk.

Most put a type-r tranny on a H22 engine. Just saying

I'm not doing it, this guy wants to buy my B18C1 engine but he has a H22 in their now so he was wondering if he would have to get a new tranny. I said he would have to but I guess I was wrong....

Yeah no.

You can run b series transmission with H engine by using H2B kit. But there is no kit to go back.

The h series trannies are good for cruising, smooth gear transfers, but not really good if you want to boot around. Gearing sucks for that.

not really... H tranny from a SR-V lude has very close gearing, 120km/h will give 4000rpm..
