Default Gas Tank Curiosity....Anyone Interested In Giving An Opinion?

hey guys how's everyone doing? i apologize for not posting anything in a while so let me get to it...

what im wondering is if gas tanks from all 2 door integra's from 94-01 are the same or not?

i bought a 96 gsr knowing it had a gas leak as the owner had told me before i bought the car but i didnt realize how bad it was till i accidentally filled over half a tank last night on my way home. i got to work this morning and saw that it was leaking in a steady stream and checked it through-out the day and saw that it slowed down.

i can get parts at cost and my cost price on a brand new gas tank from 2 of my parts suppliers are between $300.00 plus tax and $320.00 plus tax...

any input and opinions would be greatly appreciated...im here to make friends, give and take advice and learn. whether you're right or wrong about anything you're still good in my books, i don't bite or judge...thanx once again ladies and gents..

p.s as my friend's list stands right now, i'm looking like a serious loner and loooooozer so feel free to ad me if you'd like to do so hahahaha

call part source, canadian tire, napa, etc.. and compare tank prices with your supliers, buy the cheapest tank do it yourself or get someone to do it for you. Make sure it's the tank and not any of the feed, return or vapour lines leaking before you go out and buy a tank.

ya if you have a hoist doing it in your garage is going to be a bitch and fairly expensive for all the pre bent lines unless you want to bend them and flare them yourself wich is tons of work.

i actually like doing fuel and brake lines. i bought a snap on bubble flare kit and a double flare kit and bending 3/16 brake and fuel lines is nothing by hand. then only bitch part is the part where i have to do it all on my back lol that won't be cool at all hahahaha
