That's about right, lol.

With my summers I get just shy of 500 usually. Less the more "spirited driving" I do.

As for the 3k rpm, yeah that's right also.

I remember when i got 500, and the light went on. WOOOT.

Check how you drive. and everytime you fill up to max reset the Tripometer. 420 sounds about decent.

and as for the RPM, sounds like you got an LS tranny. 3k is right about right, its a long *** gear and it saves you gas on the highway. Enjoy it

yeah man that sounds about right, i usually hit around 470 with mixed highway and city driving. the biggest effect on MPG is your driving style, everything else is minor compared to that lol.

revving at 3k isn't that bad, its more the constant accelerating and decelerating then accelerating that'll kill gas mileage WAY more than sitting constant at 3k. so don't tailgate, and problem solved lol.

just be happy you don't have my B16 cable transmission on my winter DA that revs at like 3700 at 100 km/h haha.

3000 RPM's is high for only doing 100 km's. You should be doing like 120 around 3000 RPM's. At 100 km's I'm doing 3000 and I have a short gear transmission (GS-R)

As for fuel milage, you should be able to get around 500 to a tank. It very well come be how you drive, because if your harder on the gas when taking off, you will use more gas. I get around 400 km's to a tank, and that's because of my transmission and i'm a little harder on the gas when taking off, and my car has 363,XXX km's on it.

Check the fuel filter, or better yet, get a new one if you dont know when it was replaced.

also your gas lines could be naaasty and even when you put a new filter it'll clog it or dirty it right back up.

You can take it to a shop to clean it out , its like a flush.

I have 2 12's. still got over 450.

You'll see what I mean about the filter. When your mechanic takes out the filter and all this black ---- comes out with the gas. ughgh, nasty.

Also, what gas do you put in? what octane?

full tank gets me at least 500km a tank, and thats redlining it but im about 70% highway, a couple of fill ups ago i got 595km to be exact before i filled, my goal is to crack the 600 mark. Im at 250km on my motor with an intake, full greddy exhaust and full synthetic oil changes every 4k.

this has been answered so many times...

On my old b18b1 the most i ever got was 580 and it was no where close to empty but i had to stop to get some gas since i was in the middle of no where.

My current b18c im lucky if i get 350-375 least i ever got was 305 just sucks since it only takes 91 octane...and 130km/h is like 4,500 rpm.

Theres something you can do at mr lube for example, and if anything you can try it yourself. Its pretty much a "flush" to clean out the crap out of your gas tank and lines. Cuse given time, that fuel filter will get dirty again because its being fed the same crap that was in your lines and tank. Take a look around and see prices on it, or if you really need it. Cuse Im sure with it, you'll be reaching 440 + kms on a tank. So it'll pretty much pay itself after a few fill ups

But good to know the Fuel filter helped. Keep us updated

i have an auto and getting about 450km on it now. during the winter it was worst but it seems like when it's warmer i'm gettin better mileage. driving 100kmh your rpm should be reading 2500. I also pour fuel injector cleaner in my gas tank every 3000km.

The injector cleaner helps, but you don't need to do it every oil change, that's a little extreme I most say.

I've used it in my teg, and I never really saw any improvements in fuel milage.
