Default exhaust help

hey i'm shoping around for a new catback system for my eg and i was wondering which one would make the most power. I have narrowed my choices to APEX N1 and Spoon. If anyone knows any other ones you are more than welcome to post your suggestion.
Thanks for the help

no one is gonna be able to answer that question unless you give us some goals

1/4 mile time wanted?
horsepower wanted?
daily driven/weekend warrior?
N/A or turbo?
street driven, auto-x, drag road race?
Current Mod list?

answer those questions and you'll be able to get your answer

you've narrowed it down to names!! lol...

like t said, it all depends on your goals for your eg...im guessing dailry driven, light to light, highway type power...so either 2.25" or even better a 2.5" mandrel bent catback with any freeflowing type muffler...can be spoon, or even midas....

spoon doesn't make a catback but they do however sell the b-pipe and the axle back as separate pieces. I've also heard that the spoon b-pipe has bottle necks and you are better off getting the T1R b-pipe with the spoon axle back. I hear the 5zigen Fireball is awesome. I have just the muffler if your looking for one but it's louder than the buddyclub spec 2

well my motor dyno'd at 177whp i already have the APEX WSII but i've had a lot of people telling me that my exhaust doesn't make that much power. As per my goals, i'm wanting around close or a bit more than 210WHP. Currently my motor is stock. My future upgrades would be an AEM CAI, Rage Headers, high flow cat and skunk2 pro2 cams.

If 210whp is your goal then you'll need a true 2.5 inch cat-back exhaust system

there's only three on the market aside from custom

Hytech Twin Loop = Quiet but expesive around $1200
T1R = Loud around $900
SMSP = A bit louder than the Apexi WS around $700

As the cams are a bit big for a internally stock motor. The PRO 2 cams are made for 2L high compression motors. You'd be better off with the Stage 2's which would get you to your goals. This is unless your going to mod your motor internally.
