Ok so here's the story. Over the weekend I decided to clean my prm intake. I took it off used the correct k&n cleaner, let it air dry then I oiled the filter and put it back on.

So the car was running smooth for two days. Then after I noticed my car started to struggle. It seems to bogg till about just after 3000rpm. If I launch it hard it's ok. If I lauch it normal it seems fine. When I lauch in 1st normally, shift at 2500, then full open throttle in 2nd it'll bogg till after 3000rpm. Or let's say I'm in 5th gear going 85km then full throttle it, it boggs.

What the hell is going on? Spark plugs checked out. Cam gear are ok. Fuel system treatment done in the beginning of each season.

Opinions?

 

Ya do realize not every intake cone can b recharged. Not sure about prm. Change cone and see wat happens.

 

I read around a bit, and apparently teh PRM intake is cleanable... if thats a real word.. lol, but yea

 

Yes I do realize that. PRM intakes use k&n filter.

It's not the filter cause I ran the car without one around the block and it still happens.
