Default engine smoking and exhaust

So we got the b18b1 engine in the DA. when i 1st started it, it filled my garage with smoke. smelt like burning gas. Im assuming thats the exhaust. no biggie.

what im worried about is the engine, it was smoking when i came back from a drive. all the coolant lines are attatched and the rad is topped off. It looked like the smoke was coming from the bottom if the headers.

any help.

how bad is it smoking? maybe from oily hands touching the header? how long did you drive it for? did you get it to operating temp? any codes?

i think it was smoking from oil on the headers. because I did see a lot of oil on them.

I drove it for 2min then the temp went just about to half.

I dont have a fan in yet, but that doesnt make a difference on a 2min drive.

I believe I have bubbles in my coolant lines.

You should not be getting any smoke coming out from the exhaust. If it;s coming from under the car, then you have oil or coolent on the exhaust and it's just burning off now.
