In reference to my previous post

As i was driving to the body shop to get an estimate I noticed my engine light was on. The temp seemed to be fine. I was hit in the front by a girl reversing in a mini van although i dont think anything beyond the rebar was pushed back. Im not really sure why my engine light is on? anyone have any clues to find out whats wrong or if a certain sensor automatically goes of when hit in the front? The car is a 2000 acura integra with a jdm front conversion.

Read the code the ecu gives you, that will point you in the right direction.
