Eibach sportline, Front a bit higher than back?
Hey guys!
I was wondering if someone can help me out. I have a bit of an issue. So i got my eibach sportline lowering springs (1.7" drop all around for an 01 integra) installed this past weekend. And it seems that the front is a bit higher than the back. I thought I would have to wait for it to settle or something so i called Eibach just to make sure and they asked if i got the front bumpstops cut 40mm before i put them on. I asked the guy who installed it for me at the shop and he said he did not cut it but he said he's willing to do it for me but it would make no difference. So i called eibach again and they said to get a lower stance in the front , the front bumpstops needs to be trimmed by 40mm. so im confused cause the shop i got it done has been doing this performance stuff for years and eibach has been the big boys since time and i duno what i shud do to make the front equal to the back. because right now i can fit almost 1 1/2 fingers in the back and 2 1/4 fingers in the front. can anybody help me out? do u think cutting the front bumpstops would make the front of the car go a bit lower to match the drop in the back? please help me out guys. thanks in advanceeeee!!!

So? do this! Then if it makes NO difference call them back. I think what is happening is that the strut is lowered sooooo much now beyond factory specs that the bumpstop is actually holding the car from fully lowering itself. 40 mm is about 1 1/2" so get them cut! Find out first. Then if there is not a change call Eibach again. The worst part is that when you lower that much you will lose the dampening effect of your OE strut. Mind you the car will look cool....
Let us know what happens after you get them cut.
