i'd just change the entire driveshaft. i replaced my boot on one of mine before, and it got just as bad a couple months down the road :/

Agreed I did the same. Replace my passenger side boot and a couple months down the road had to replace the whole shaft.

Now I gotta do my driverside as well

you're better off replacing the entire axle. if the boot is ripped, there probably isn't any grease in there. when i pulled by drivers side axle out, the inner joint detached from the rest of the axle and was stuck to the intermediate shaft.

do it right, change the whole thing, especially if the axles are the originals. i got my axles from raxles.com.
