Default Compustar Problem

To all compustar owners:

I was wondering if anyone can help me out here. My problem is that when I disarm my car, my door unlocks and then right away it locks (still in disarm mode) meaning I can't get into my car without using my key to unlock it manually. Arming my car still works perfectly.

I will give Jeff a call at audioheaven.

Thanks
Bobby

when u do a remote start in order for the alarm brain to start the car without, setting the alarm off, the alarm brain will unlock the doors first, then remote start the car, then lock the doors back.

So remote start your car from inside, then use the unlock button to get into the car.

its a setting...i believe its "passive locking" mode, where when the last door is shut, 30 seconds later the doors lock... i cant remember what key combo turns it off, but go to the compustar website and get the key combo

thanks for the input but thats not what im looking for.
my remote is not on passive mode.
what is happening is when i disarm my car, the door unlocks and then 1 sec later it locks back up (still in disarm mode and not in passive mode)

hey T this is not entirely true. theres two ways it can start. one way would be always lock upon starting or start upon any condition.

hm and if passive is not on than you might have auto on.
