Cold Starting Integra Problem
As u all know when winter wants to get harsh it can be In the GTA. I have a little problem with my car, I wanted to sum up some ideas from n e one who reads this to help me out. Whenever i start my car in the morning, or whenever i have left my car sitting in the cold for a very long time, i hear a buzzing sound coming from the left side of the motor(if u were sitting in the car) where the pulleys are, i changed the belts and still the problem persists.. WTF?! GSR 98 btw
Does the car crank over at all? How many times does it take?
After the cars running, does it ever die on it's own? |
i honestly have no clue. just felt like posting that.
does it go on for a very short time and then stop? it could be the ABS re-setting itself.
Probably ABS vacuum.
Yeah it doesnt last long at all, i would say about 3 min tops then its gone, just thought i'd ask if n e one else had this problem and turned out had screwed with the functions of the car, what about getting rid of that sound.. mess with the ABS? thx for the posts
Its not a problem - the ABS is prepping itself when you start the car.
oh yeah, i dun think my car has abs, my body isnt GSR just the motor. The body is an LS or RS not sure, typey front end :D
Hmm some LS and SE have it. It would be best to get someone with experience listen to it.
If its when its extremely cold, most likely its the alternator.
if theres not a huge metal box with lines goin into it beside ur air filter then u dont have abs...
Yeah i know for a fact my car doesnt have abs, so that isnt it, I think Rey may be right about it being the alternator.. well im bringing it to the shop on monday so i'll find out then
