Default clutch problems

my clutch has just been slipping one random morning. i have no idea why but its time for replacement. im wondering what kind of clutch i should get. i only have i/h/e mods on my car. so should a stage 1 or 2 be good enough? also, would a 93 gs-r tranny and clutch fit in my 90 ls? thanks

A stage 1 is definitely more then you are going to need, so don't go higher then that.

stage 1 organic would be fine. The clutch (splines) have to match the tranny only. I assume you are using a 93 gsr YS1 tranny and therefore, should buy a clutch for that tranny, not car. HTH

well right now i have two options, to buy a ys1 tran with new stock clutch, or just to but a stage one clutch for my car now. dont kno which will be better in the end. they both are offered to me at roughly the same price. *also wondering how difficult it is to install yourself, or do u need a shop to do it ?
