Default Check engine light code

Hello,

I recently had my timing belt and water pump changed. About 10 min of driving, the check engine light came on. I took it back to where I got it changed and they double checked their work and checked the engine code.

It came up as P1336 54...which is "CKF Sensor (Crankshaft Speed Fluctuation) defective circuit or unplugged / defective sensor".

Anybody know where this is or how hard it is to fix and if its worth fixing. The garage said they dont know what it means.

I already tried resetting the ECU but it just keeps comming back on.

Thank you for your help

Either they didn't line up the timing belt on the crank and camshafts, or your distributor is done.

It's located inside the distributor.
